Rei complied. “Hello?”

“General? About those budget approvals you've been waiting for... Wait, who is this?” The boys shared a look. They knew the voice.

“Hi, Uncle Tuesti!” they said together.

Reeve sighed. “Boys, put your father on the line.”

“Sorry, Uncle Tuesti,” Rei said. “He's not in right now.”

“Yeah, he said we could stay and take his messages for him.”

Reeve grunted. “So where did he go?”

“He took a mental health day,” Rei answered.

“... Didn't he just take one last week?”

“Yeah,” Ari said, “he takes a lot of those.”

Took a mental health day tonight myself, took the plunge, and posted journal entries. Very funny drabble, reminds me of my own twin boys. Enjoyable and great as always, lightened my spirit; and never ceases to provide inspiration. Mischief comes in pairs. They're out of town, and . . . missing them. Nothing spells trouble like twins. Sephy apparently knows this. He deserves it.
