Oh no... poor puppy. Adult pets have such a hard time getting a home, especially if they have a stigma working against them like German shephards and pitbulls seem to (I happen to dogsit for a pitbull/lab, and while he is extremely territorial and possessive, he's pretty much the sweetest dog I've ever known). I might have a tentative possibility for him, but we all live up in WA.

Fuck. Now I'm going to start crying.

That's the thing, people think big dogs are scary but it's the little ones who are more likely to snap at their owners, IME. Chips on their shoulder and all that. I grew up with a labrador pack and now I have German Shepherds and one rott mix. They are more placid than the lab pack by far, only acting up when an unknown entity actually gets on their turf or in their faces. If I lived in the US I'd go all out for this one, or somebody like him. Seventy pound, medium energy male GSD? Been there, doing that, loving every minute of it.
