For a very long time I've been extremely wary about talking about non-fandom aspects of my life online. It's only been in the past six months or so that I've noticed the old anxiety finally wearing off. Then LJ goes and does this.

I have very good reasons, like many of us do, for keeping my fandom life separate from all the rest of it. Please don't post anything you see on this journal to FB and Twitter. I'm getting that Greasemonkey script as I type.

This is not the time I would have chosen to have to fiddle with what I have nearly no understanding of. Darn LJ. At least Firefox has been good so far, better for me than Chrome.

If you want a new layout with little hassle, premade_ljs is a great place to go. However, some of their newer layouts don't have previews any more. Which sucks.

But there is also freelayouts for more options, but it hasn't been updated in a year. D:

I was thinking about the snowflake one. It's blue enough to maintain some sense of continuity for my brain until there's time to tweak.

I suppose it will finally be a chance to fangirl out this journal of mine at some point. I've wanted to before but not badly enough to squeeze out the time and energy to learn how.
