“Happy Mother’s Day,” Sephiroth declared. “I’m sorry about the head-chopping thing but it’s back in place now and you’re as beautiful as ever!” He turned towards his audience, beaming. “That’s good for the making amends step, right?”
Aeris tried to disguise a grimace as a grin. “It’s a start, Seph.”
Zack shuddered beside her. “This is why he wanted to borrow my duct tape?”
Aeris elbowed him in the ribs. “Shh, it’s still progress.”
