First, there's two more last-minute drabbles I did for the Characters' children prompt.
Title: Connect
Characters: Cloud, OCs.
Rating: G
Word Count: 100
Sometimes he would get hungry for Fenrir, parked up in the garage, turning into an antique. Maybe Fenrir could take the turns and inclines better, but the car was safer, fuel-efficient, with more room in the back.
They tumbled out quietly (for once). He hadn't told them much, but they knew this was important. Or rather, the first knew. The rest followed his lead. They followed their father out to the bluff like a row of spiky-headed ducklings and stood in line when he stopped.
“That's it,” he said, feeling the peace of connection, “That's Uncle Zack's sword.”
Title: Bonds
Characters: Sephiroth, OC (Ocean).
Rating: PG
Word Count: 100
“Put him down!” Sephiroth's growl promised murder. The creature rolled one lazy eye, tightening the coil around the boy's neck. Sephiroth raised his sword an inch. “Put my son down and perhaps I'll end it quickly for you.”
The thing's eyes went from the General to the boy dangling in its grasp, scanning over the white-knuckled grip on the tentacle, the gritted teeth as the boy drew careful measured breaths, the bright, blond hair... “He's no son of yours,” the thing rasped, quaking in amusement.
“I adopted him,” Sephiroth said firmly. “That makes him mine, so put him down!”
The prompt this week is Aeris/Aerith, so here's something slightly cracky to start:
Title: Fearless
Characters: Aeris, Sephiroth.
Rating: PG-13
Word Count: 100
A.N.: Snippets of Aeris trying to make the most of her last nights alive.
Sephiroth stood in the path, blocking the way with a smirk and a sword. Aeris was not impressed.
“If you're the troll on the bridge,” she started, “at least you're easy on the eyes.”
The smirk became a frown. “Where exactly do you get off calling me a troll?”
“Anywhere I please.”
“I've killed people for less.”
Aeris shrugged. “I figured.”
The frown deepened. “Gutted them too. Left nothing but a bloody stain.”
“Your laundry days must be tough.” Aeris studied her nails. “So, you gonna let me pass or what?” She knew what was coming. No point being afraid.
Title: In the Cards
Characters: Aeris, Sephiroth.
Rating: PG
Word Count: 100
She had left her materia behind. Armor too. Her friends would need it more than she would. She had not brought much with her on the lone journey, just the very bare necessities and a few things that were anything but. A comb, her underwear, of course, some pretty pebbles from Costa del Sol, just to remind her of better times. Funny how some of those unnecessaries were proving so useful.
“Quite a way to spend your last night alive, isn't it?” Sephiroth raised an eyebrow at her over the cards.
Aeris rolled her eyes. “Just shut up and deal.”
Title: Never
Characters: Aeris, Sephiroth.
Rating: PG-13
Word Count: 100
“What is that?”
“Whiskey. Stole it off Cid before I left. Want some?”
“I suppose.” Sephiroth drank and barely kept from coughing. “Why did you do it?”
Aeris shrugged. “Because I've never stolen, because I wanted to test out the tricks Yuffie showed me, because... I thought I might need liquid encouragement when I got here.”
“Do you?”
Aeris looked at the man next to her. “Not really. But I want it anyway.”
“Never drank either, did you?”
“No.” Aeris did cough at her turn at the bottle.
Sephiroth hesitated before patting her back. “So... what else haven't you done?”
Title: The View from the Couch
Characters: Aeris, Sephiroth.
Rating: R
Word Count: 100
Sephiroth didn't know how he ended up naked with his head in her lap. Her hands felt very nice stroking his hair. Soothing. He hadn't had much of that lately, or ever. Maybe that was how she got him talking, relaxing him till he didn't know what he was saying. Her words filtered back very slowly.
“Hold up!” He rose. “You're saying I hate my father and I want to sleep with my mother?”
“Basically.”
“That's sick!”
“It's your brain.”
Sephiroth thought it over. “I suppose it is,” he said and settled back down to gaze at the mountains overhead.
And finally, a double drabble for
fanfic100, because I WILL finish this claim! Only a quarter of the way to go now!
Title: Jealousy
Characters: Sephiroth/Cloud, Zack/Aeris, Aeris/Cloud
Prompt: 022 - Enemies
Rating: PG-13
Word Count: 200
A.N.: I toyed with the idea of turning this into PWP foursome smut. :P Still might, time and inspiration permitting.
Sephiroth was not sure what he had been expecting. A little peck maybe, some soft, innocent lip-play. Not this. Definitely not this. There was head-tilting and tongue and they were getting hands involved. Touching. He had said he was okay with this but had not counted on the low growl rising past the tightness in his chest.
Zack nudged him with an elbow and threw him a wink. “Pretty hot, eh? If I'd known they'd look so good together I would have lent mine sooner.” Sephiroth almost snapped back that he had no intention of ever lending his again, but then the moans started and left him speechless.
Their hands were roaming now. Only above the belt but Sephiroth wanted to rush over and take back what was his. Cloud had very well kissed a girl now, thank you very much. There was no need for them to be feeling each other up. Cloud was sliding his hands over the girl's chest. She covered his fingers with her own and encouraged him to squeeze.
That was it, Sephiroth vowed, glaring at Zack's bold little girlfriend. Offering to help Cloud was one thing but for that, she would pay.
